100 years of independence!
Today, june 7.th, its 100 years since norway and sweden dissolved the Union that held us together.
There will be celebrations all over the place, if you live anywhere from Tromsoe to Oslo, but as far as I know there is nothing planned for Vadsoe. It could be because we have no money, or it never was that big a deal what happened a 100 years ago in Eidsvoll for the people up here, or the city councel simply couln't be arsed to do anything special.
Either way, Nothing is oficially planned for today, so If I want to celebrate I'll have to do it alone.
I'm considering making waffles.

Things are ging from bad to worse...
The Pope died Saturday evening, may he rest in peace.
Also, in distressing news, the Norwegian King have just had surgery and is advised to slow down on the ruling, but, as the King said, "Either you are a King, or you aren't. You cannot be a half-king." So he won't back down.
And Finally, Ms Whitney Houston have used drugs for far too long, so her teeth and hair is starting to fall out. And Her mother is threatening her into rehab saying that if she don't do it, she will not only stop seeing her, but also do all she can to take Whitneys daughter away from her.
